So pleased to meet you!

I’m Kim, a graphic designer and illustrator, from Bath, UK.

I’ve been a graphic designer for over 10 years now and I’m always keen to sharpen my skills and continue to learn and grow as a creative.

Pretty much all my life, I’ve admired illustrators who can draw with ease and speed.

Now, I understand this takes years of practise and consistent, daily training, so I thought what better way to practise than to start an Instagram profile.

Welcome to Inku Design.

There’s a growing number of female creatives taking to Instagram and using the platform in an honest and open way, putting women’s issues at the centre of their work.

I wanted in on that conversation.

So this was where I started - I put together some #nudenotes and then took to realising these concepts in illustration form.

With regards to Instagram, I’ve had quite a bit of engagement on these two posts already, which has been so amazing!

I think if you can create content that people can relate to, that you yourself created with passion and enjoyment, you can’t really go wrong.

I find inspiration in honest pieces of work that combine humour with a striking colour palette.

I am obsessed with Chinese and Japanese culture and have a passion for big, bold typography.

You’ll see a lot of these influences come through in my work.

My ultimate goal is to empower, engage and inspire people through my work.

I am a creative problem-solver with over 10 years of graphic design experience. My greatest passion is to empower, engage and inspire people through my typography and illustrations.

When I’m not at a Mac screen, you’ll find me getting messy inking up a silkscreen.
