How to Give Feedback

Inspired by an article, by @franksonnenbergonline.

Do you fear feedback?

It's probably not the feedback itself - but the way it was delivered.

Most of us give poor feedback - bias, personal and not constructive.

It's not something you get taught, it's something you kind of pickup along the path of your career.

As Frank says in his article How to Give Feedback":
"Feedback should be welcomed rather than feared. In fact, we should thank folks who make the effort to nurture us with their valuable input –– even if it hurts at times."

Good feedback is constructive, balanced and builds towards a shared goal.

I believe if we were all a little better at it there would be a lot less imposter syndrome, wellbeing issues and there would be a lot happier people making incredible work.
