Pineapple and Bacon Burger Toppers

Inspired by an old BBQ favourite.

Are you looking to level up your BBQ Burger?

Are you sick of dry, overcooked burgers, drenched in ketchup and mustard with a slab of plastic cheese on top?

The same old burger, that same old BBQ cook. I've got just the thing - a two-ingredient BBQ game-changer.

Once you've tried it, you'll never have a BBQ without them.

Introducing the...
Pineapple and Bacon Burger Topper.

It's a simple recipe, and it can all be prepared beforehand and finished off on the grill once your burgers are cooked.

Just wrap a rasher of streaky bacon around a pineapple ring, sprinkle each with your favourite BBQ spice mix (or just some smokey paprika). Pop in the oven until they start to brown and remove.

This pre-cook will tighten up the toppers, so they don't fall apart on the BBQ.

When your burgers are ready, heat up the toppers on the BBQ until the bacon is crispy and golden. My mouth is watering at the thought!!

Top Tip!
Don't forget to save the juice from your can of pineapple rings - if you mix this in with your favourite BBQ sauce, you'll have an amazing basting sauce to help keep your burgers juicy on the grill.

These toppers and so sweet, salty and juicy they can hide a whole host of BBQ cooking sins - they tingle all those key taste buds.

Become a Grill Master - no matter how many beers or cocktails you sink in the sun, sweating over the hot coals.

Next time you plan on firing up the grill, and those two burger topper ingredients to your shopping list - canned pineapple rings and smoked streaky bacon. Trust me, you won't regret it!
