In the article they outline the 7 groups of decision-making sins which are:
1 - Lack of an effective decision-making process.
2 - No decision-making training for employees.
3 - Inadequate guidelines for decision-making closest to the customer.
4 - “Empowering” employees to make decisions without adequate authority to take action.
5 - Fear of failure.
6 - Poor communication or lack of collaboration between stakeholders.
7 - A “Funnel” or “Fan” decision-making culture causes all decisions to funnel to one person or fan out to multiple parties.
I hope these nudenotes help identify the sticking points in your decision-making and put you on the path to overcoming them!
