For those of you who don't know Scotty is the host of the amazing podcast Perspective Collective Podcast, it's a podcast to "Fuel for Your Mind & Creative Grind", and it does exactly what it says on the tin! When I need a boost of motivation, this is one of the podcasts I turn to.
If you haven't already to check out the Podcast and Scotty's IG feed's, they're packed full of incredible tips and tricks, scattered with little motivational boosts.
Being a freelancer can feel like a blessing and sometimes curse - full of soaring highs and crushing lows. But if we learn from our mistakes and share those learnings, we can start to moving away from a survival mindset and start to thrive.

Lesson number 8 really resonated with me - Monday's over Fridays. I hate the living for the weekend mindset. I even wrote a whole blog article, about which you can read here.
Living for the weekend works out roughly as living for just 28% of your life, which honestly doesn’t sound healthy.
I appreciate that we may not all have our dream job, but we need to get out of the mind frame that happiness is just for two days of the week. The week may be long, but life is short.
